Hummer Repair and Service Service at Mike's Service Center
The Hummer brand has a relatively low shelf life compared to other car companies. Launched in 1992, AM General sold civilian versions of the M998 Humvee, which was derived from the military version of the model. General Motors purchased the brand rights from AM General, and subsequently launched three models of the Hummer: the H1, H2, and H3. After filing for bankruptcy in 2010, the company died. GM has brought the Hummer name back as just a nameplate with its new HUMMER EV.
